Anyone wishing to place memorial flowers in the church for Easter are asked to fill out a flowers memorial card found in the church entrance, and place it in the offering plate, or see Linda Strachan, no later than April 5th in order to have the names in the Easter Sunday bulletin.

The Bible Study Fellowship Groups (Mondays 7pm - 8:30pm; Tuesdays 2pm - 3:30pm) will begin a Lenten devotional meditation and reflection on a few selected Psalms during the Season of Lent, beginning on March 2 and 3, respectively, in response to the Church’s invitation to observe a holy Lent by reading and meditating on the word of God. Do come and journey with our Lord as we journey with him to the Cross and Resurrection.

Men’s Breakfast: Our next Men’s Breakfast will be held on Saturday, March 28th at 8:00am. See you there! For more information, call Don at 431-4047

Volunteer canvassers are needed in April by the Canadian Cancer Society. If you can help canvass a street in Beechville, Lakeside or Timberlea, please call Jinny Giza at 876-8510 by March 27th. Thank you.

The Weekly Bulletin, Cycles of Prayer and Rector’s Report will no longer be e-mailed but are now available on our Parish Web Site (http://blthanglicans.ca) , under the "Parishioners Section". To access this information along with Council Minutes, Monthly Financial Statements and Annual Reports, you will need the username (blthparish) and password (876mmlj).

Thank you to all who have been handing in cancelled postage stamps and Campbell’s Soup labels for the ACW projects (Landmark East School and Canadian Bible Society). Please keep them coming! The collection boxes are on the table at the back of the church.

Sunday night’s Variety Show was a resounding success and a wonderful evening was had by all! A total of $826.98 was raised. Thanks to everyone who came out to support this event.

St. Andrew’s Ladies Group will be holding their annual Yard Sale April 25th. We would appreciate good , clean items of clothing, furniture, dishes, plants, toys, etc. Please no computers, car seats or tv’s. Items can be dropped off Friday night, April 24th between 7-9pm or they can be placed on the stage no sooner than April 1st. Your generous support, as in the past, is much appreciated. 90th Anniversary Celebrations

The kerosene oil heater you see on the Chancel steps was used to heat the porch of the old St. Andrew’s Church on Fraser’s Rd. and was donated by the Gilkie Family . The church was erected and used from 1905 to 1956. Perched on top is Miss Ruth Gilkie’s choir hat, which she was never seen without in her many years with St. Andrew’s Choir.

PWRDF: There are inmemorium cards for the Primates Fund on the table at the back of the church. They are self explanatory and a worthwhile way of remembering friends or relatives as this fund assists people around the world.

The Sacred Heart Food Bank is in need of the following items: Peanut butter, jam, canned fruit, canned meat, soda crackers, tea, coffee, pancake mix, syrup, juice, ready made pudding and cookies.(no baby food please) Thank you for your continued support.

BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE: If you would like the name/s of loved ones written in the Book of Remembrance on the anniversary of their death, please call Tim Edwards at 876-7785. If possible, to ensure correct spelling, please give Tim the names in writing a week or two before the anniversary.
