CHRISTMAS WITH THE CARDINAL POINTS – We are happy to announce that the Quartet who sang for you at St. Andrew’s on September 14th is currently working on a Christmas program.  Now named CARDINAL POINTS, they will be performing three shows in the area in December, including one at St. Andrew’s on Sunday, December 7th at 2:30 pm.  A poster is on the bulletin board beside the entrance door.  Tickets will be available shortly.

FUNDSCRIP – Parish Council is trying a new type of Fundraiser which requires no work on your part.  It is simply a new way of shopping.  Instead of using cash, debit or credit cards when you do your weekly shopping, purchase a gift card from the parishThere are no hidden costs or fees.  You simply buy a gift card for groceries or gas, etc. in the amount you wish to purchase and use this at the store instead.
For every gift card the parish sells, a percentage will be given back to the church.  The percentages run from 2% up to 10% depending on the card.  These cards will give the parish extra funds without all the work.  An information package was passed out last week with the bulletins.  If you didn’t get one, please see Rick Morash or Linda Strachan and they can answer any questions you might have.

CHILDREN’S SHOPPING DAY – We will be having our 3rd Annual Shopping Day for Children in the church hall on December 13th.  We are looking for donations of new items that can be sold for under $5.  If you are able to help us out that would be great.  All donations can be given to Bev Higgins. Please mark this date on your calendar and plan to bring your children and grandchildren to do their Christmas Shopping at very reasonable prices.  Have some refreshments from our canteen while you shop.  Santa will make a visit and your child can have his/her picture taken with him.  All pictures will be emailed to you.

2ND ANNUAL TREE LIGHTING AND CAROL SING – St. Andrew’s Ladies Group is hosting their 2nd Annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Carol Sing in the church parking lot on December 14th at 6:30 pm.  There will be hot chocolate and cookies in the hall after.  Everyone is welcome to come out and enjoy some good old fashioned fun!

PARISH WEBSITE – Our parish website is being updated after a long period of being inactive.  We are very interested in what groups or other things you would like to see included there.  Any ideas are very welcome!  Please let the rector know by email and we will see what we can do!  markpretty63@icloud.com
