BREAKFAST BUCKET – Our next Breakfast Bucket will be held on Sunday, October 25th.

CALENDARS – We only have a few calendars left.  Get yours now before it is too late.  Only $6.00 each and they do make nice Christmas gifts.  See Wendy after church to pick one up.

MISSION TO SEAFARERS - St. Andrew’s Ladies Group is collecting items for the shoebox campaign for the Mission to Seafarers.
The following is a list of what is needed:  scarves, glove/mitts, wrapped hard candy (no chocolate), socks, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, shaving cream, razors, deodorant, and lypsyl.  A collection bin has been placed in the porch along with a poster listing the types of items needed and the quantities.  For more information contact any member of the group. PLEASE NOTE WE HAVE ENOUGH HATS!

SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT – Spiritual Development will meet on Thursday, October 29th at 7 pm at the home of Rev Judie Lafford.  All members are asked to attend.

SAVE THE DATE -   Saturday, November 7th, 7-10pm the fabulous Celtic Band “THE DICEY REILLY” will be at St. Andrew’s for an old-fashioned Irish Ceilidh.  TICKETS ARE SOLD OUT!

CHILDREN’S SHOPPING EVENT - Once again, Parish Council will be sponsoring the fun filled Christmas Shopping event for children in our community and beyond. This year’s event is scheduled for Saturday, December 12th in the church hall from 10:00 until noon. Be sure to tell your friends, family and neighbors. Donations of new merchandise may be dropped off with Bev Higgins anytime leading up to the event.

CAMPBELL SOUP LABELS AND POSTAGE STAMPS - Thank you for your continuing support of two ACW projects: Postage stamps and Campbell’s soup labels.  The requirements for stamps have been changed: They no longer have to have 1/4” margin of envelope around them; simply tear most of the envelope away, being careful not to tear the stamp.  The soup labels have to be complete and in one piece; that is, with no staples or Scotch tape.

OUTREACH AT ST. ANDREWS –St. Andrews Church and members of this Parish are actively involved in many Outreach Programs and Projects.  A list is posted at the back of the Church.  Lorraine MacLellan is Chair of Outreach and oversees a number of these projects.  Marilyn Hamlin is Coordinator of Outreach and reports regularly to Parish Council.  Please keep Rev. Marilyn informed of current Outreach Programs and any up-and-coming Projects. . Many Thanks!
