MESSAGE FROM PRIMATE - Our Primate, Archbishop Fred Hiltz, asks that we pray for a ceasefire to end the violence in the Middle East.  Pray for all who have died and all who mourn.  Pray for the injured and those who tend them in hospitals and clinics that are under the continuing threat of bombing.  Pray for world leaders who offer counsel in negotiating a settlement to this current crisis and in securing a lasting peace for all Palestinians and Israelis.
“Violence shall no more be heard in your land.”   Isaiah 60:18
Bishop Suheil Dawani of Jerusalem has issued an urgent appeal for help.  There are shortages in medicines, fuel and food. The Arab Hospital in Gaza City (owned and operated by the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem) is exceeding its capacity to meet this humanitarian crisis.  Donations can be made to the Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund.  They work  with ACT Alliance (Action by Churches Together) to help provide support for those wounded and displaced in this ongoing siege.
